🚀 Just got certified as an AI Product Manager from Product Faculty led by Miqdad Jaffer, Product Leader at OpenAI. Huge thanks to Miqdad Jaffer and Moe Ali 🙌 for an amazing hands-on course from AI product strategy to execution, covering everything from Prompt Engineering, RAG, Fine-tuning, AI Agents, Orchestration Patterns, to Evolution. Here are my takeaways: AI is reshaping industries faster than SaaS ever did. And Product Managers need to evolve too. The fundamentals like customer empathy, prioritization, and value delivery stay the same, but AI changes the game: 1️⃣ Uncertainty > Determinism Traditional PM: Features are deterministic, you know what the system will do when coded. AI PM: Models are probabilistic, outputs vary, edge cases exist, and results can be wrong or biased. 👉 PMs must embrace experimentation, evaluation metrics, and risk management. 2️⃣ Data > Features Traditional PM: think features and UX. AI PM: think data quality, labeling, bias. 👉 Your product is only as good as your data. 3️⃣ New Success Metrics Traditional PM: Success measured in adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue. AI PM: Also measured in model accuracy, precision/recall, false positive/negative rates, explainability, and latency. 👉 You need dual thinking: business KPIs + ML metrics. 4️⃣ Ethics & Trust Traditional PM: Usability and delight are core concerns. AI PM: Must also manage fairness, bias, transparency, privacy, and compliance. 👉 A bad UX frustrates, but a biased AI system can damage reputations or even cause harm. 5️⃣ Continuous Evolution Traditional PM: Features, once built, are relatively stable. AI PM: Models degrade as real-world data changes. 👉 Products need ongoing monitoring, retraining, and data pipelines. 💡 Bottom line: Product Management in AI isn’t just about new tools, it’s about a new mindset. Special thanks to Paweł Huryn for the recommendation. #AIProductManagement #ProductManagement #AI #Innovation

Thrilled to share—Finished the Spring AI Product Management course from Product Faculty with a capstone project and received my certificate. 🎓 Why I’m excited? 1️⃣ Content that hits the mark: Product Faculty packed the program with both In-dept explanations of how LLMs are built and practical AI know-hows. A few highlights I’m already using today: - Prompt-engineering playbook (zero-shot ➜ chain-of-thought) - Model customization & evaluation frameworks (fine-tuning, RLHF, functions, evals) - Safety and reliability checkpoints (bias, adversarial prompts, moderation) 2️⃣ Build-or-it-didn’t-happen: Every student is expected to deliver a real problem solving prototype with the 4-D method. My project: an automated video-analysis pipeline built in 6 weeks with OpenAI Assistants using Vision o4, n8n.io, Cloudinary.com, Lovable.ai, manus.im and more. Debugging phantom errors, adapting to API limitations and context-window quirks was…fun 😅, but the working demo made it worth it. 3️⃣ A toolkit I can re-use tomorrow: The End-to-End AI Product Lifecycle is now my go-to checklist when navigating uncertainty in AI projects and beyond. 4️⃣ Community is just great! Big thanks to Miqdad Jaffer, Paweł Huryn and Moe Ali for the blend of self-paced modules and live deep-dives! 🌟 And to my classmates for the rapid-fire feedback on my crazy ideas and never ending encouragement. This matters a lot!♥️ If you’re a PM looking to ship AI products, this course is the real deal. https://lnkd.in/dpB8zk7X

Wrapped up my AI Product Management certification from Product Faculty led by Miqdad Jaffer (OpenAI) and hosted by Moe Ali As someone with a Product Manager - Technical in SaaS / enterprise background, this program was a shift in mindset. It helped me see just how different building AI products is compared to traditional SaaS or enterprise products. The sessions were thoughtfully designed and incredibly engaging not just theory, but real frameworks and examples that made the concepts click. The 4D framework was especially helpful in giving structure to what can often feel like a chaotic or abstract space. What really stood out to me were the mindset shifts needed for AI product thinking: • Thinking of data as a first-class product asset, not just an input • Embracing experimentation and iteration instead of fixed roadmaps • Designing with trust and explainability in mind, AI isn’t always predictable • Collaborating beyond the usual PM/engineering loop, bringing in data science, ML, and sometimes even legal/ethics early. • Making smart decisions around when to use tools like RAG, Function Calling, or fine-tuning approaches like PEFT or RLHF and MAINLY when NO NEED or NOT TO USE AI :) This course helped me connect the dots between what AI can do and how to turn that into real, user-centered products. Definitely recommend it to any PM who’s stepping into the AI space and wants to feel confident driving those conversations and decisions. It doesn't stop just in theory, but a realtime #AIBuildLab lead by Paweł Huryn #ProductManagement #ProductStrategy #ProductDiscovery #ProductDevelopment #ProductGrowth #TechnicalProductManager #TechnicalProductManagement #PlatformThinking #APIs #ProductRoadmap #TechLeadership #DigitalTransformation #ContinuousLearning #LifelongLearning #GrowthMindset #CareerGrowth #ProductThinking #AIForPMs #AIProductManager #ContinuousLearning #GrowthMindset #Upskilling #AIProductManagement https://lnkd.in/grvwfkPw

Just wrapped up the AI Product Management Certification by Product Faculty — and it's been a truly eye-opening experience. Big thanks to Miqdad Jaffer ,Moe Ali, and the incredibly thoughtful cohort for making this so much more than just a course. It challenged me to rethink how AI can be meaningfully integrated into complex B2B products — especially in high-trust, high-stakes domains like investment management. Some of the most impactful takeaways for me: 1. Distinguishing AI potential from AI hype — learning how to ask the right product questions around feasibility, value, and risk before jumping to solutions 2. Designing LLM interactions that are useful, safe, and user-centered — particularly where the interface is driven by prompts instead of clicks 3. Balancing explainability and automation — a real challenge when your users demand precision, auditability, and control 4. Turning ambiguous workflows into AI-augmented journeys — by grounding design in user psychology, data context, and business impact This program pushed me to be more rigorous in how I evaluate AI opportunities — not just from a tech lens, but as a responsible product strategist. If you’re building in domains where user trust, complexity, and data nuance all collide — I’d highly recommend this certification. Happy to connect with others exploring AI in enterprise settings. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dYUHbteD hashtag#AIProductManagement hashtag#ProductFaculty hashtag#InvestmentTech hashtag#LLMProducts hashtag#PromptDesign hashtag#ResponsibleAI hashtag#ProductThinking hashtag#FinTechProduct hashtag#B2BProduct hashtag#AIUX

I’ve just wrapped up the AI Product Management certification with Product Faculty, and what a journey it’s been. This program really helped me deepen my understanding of how to identify real AI opportunities, build usable LLM-powered products, and apply frameworks like prompt engineering, RAG, and structured evaluation. But I didn’t stop at theory. I built something real. CompliMate is an AI-powered assistant for HR professionals. It takes legal polcies and turns them into plain English summaries with clear, practical actions. Along the way, I: ✅ Explored the HR compliance market and mapped out user personas ✅ Built a working prototype using Lovable.dev ✅ Designed and tested prompts with GPT-4 ✅ Evaluated outputs across a wide range of legal, edge, and irrelevant scenarios You can check out the prototype here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gPCxGtTq What’s next? I’m currently working on connecting the prototype to the GPT-4 API to enable real-time interaction, and planning future improvements like RAG integration for better grounding and accuracy. Big thanks to the Miqdad Jaffer and the team at Product Faculty in the cohort. It’s been an energising and collaborative experience. I’d love to hear what you think. Open to feedback, ideas, or even teaming up on the next iteration. hashtag#ProductManagement hashtag#AIProductManagement hashtag#LLM hashtag#PromptEngineering hashtag#ComplianceTech hashtag#HRTech hashtag#ProductFaculty

Building with AI is no longer optional; it’s foundational to modern product thinking. I recently completed the "AI Product Management Certification" by Product Faculty, led by Miqdad Jaffer, and it delivered far more than I expected. It’s easy to see why this course is featured on Lenny Rachitsky’s list of top product learning programs. This wasn’t about theory alone; it was a deep dive into applying AI responsibly and effectively in real-world product environments. The curriculum bridged model mechanics, LLM use cases, data strategy, and ethical frameworks (all through a product lens and great support from Moe Ali). Key highlights: * Clear frameworks to assess AI feasibility, model performance, and product-market fit * Deep understanding of how to design, evaluate, and launch LLM-infused features * Hands-on capstone project simulating the full AI product lifecycle * Live Q&A sessions with Miqdad Jaffer (candid, insightful, and grounded in industry experience) Now moving into AI Build Labs with Paweł Huryn, where we’ll apply these concepts in a collaborative, build-first environment. Also looking forward to the Advanced Product Management Certification, included in this program. If you’re a product leader looking to sharpen your edge in the age of AI, I would highly recommend this program. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss the experience. This week, I completed Product Faculty's AI Product Management Certification (https://lnkd.in/emTdFbrH) taught by Miqdad Jaffer from #OpenAI. While I wasn't sure what to expect, I knew it would be valuable (thanks to Lenny Rachitsky and #LennysList). The course focused on driving user and business value through the 4D framework: Discover, Design, Develop, Deploy. - 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 impactful AI use cases by mapping pain points, ideating, and creating a PRD - 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 the AI product, considering user scenarios, and planning the product's architecture and features - 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 the project through iterative prompting, model training, integration, and evaluation - 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 the AI product, ensuring it delivers value to users and the business To bring this to life, Miqdad shared key insights and tools for each stage, grounding them in real-world examples from his work at Shopify and OpenAI. The capstone project brings everything together. I am tackling something close to home: 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. As a father of three and the main cook at home, organizing weekly meals can be challenging. I usually rely on the #NYTimesCooking app for inspiration, but keep the list of recipes in an iOS Note. Now, I'm applying what I learned to build a smarter meal planner for busy parents (and meal planners) like me. It's small and practical, but meaningful. I tried to approach it from the perspective of a NYTimes PM solving a real-life problem. If you're interested in becoming an AI Product Manager but aren't sure where to start, this hands-on certification is an excellent entry point. Stay tuned—I'll be sharing my capstone project and video in a couple of weeks. PS big thank you to Moe Ali for moderating, answering questions, and ensuring the course ran smoothly. #AIProductManagement #HandsOnLearning #MealPlanning #FamilyLife #BuildWithAI
