We’ll kick off the course by understanding different types of products, various Product Manager archetypes and factors that impact Product Management.

In the Product Strategy module, we’ll cover how to think strategically, how to develop a product strategy and how to determine that your product strategy is indeed the “right” one.

In the product roadmaps module, we’ll explore the importance of roadmaps and cover, in detail, the 4-step process of developing product roadmaps.

Stakeholder management is half of product management. In this module, we’ll cover how to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and discuss proven stakeholder- management techniques that you can apply at work immediately.

In Agile processes module, we’ll deep-dive into agile program delivery, covering practical agile techniques, processes and frameworks used by the world-leading organizations.

In technology skills module, we’ll cover “minimum viable” technical skills that you need to know as a Product Manager to communicate with, and gain the confidence of your Engineering teams.

In the Business skills module, you’ll get a “mini-MBA”, equipping you with practical business skills that you can apply daily in your role as a Product Manager. We’ll explore topics including value creation, value discovery, marketing and sales.

The User Experience module, we’ll cover practical UX skills, as well as, how to run a design sprint. You will get to practice running your own design sprint using leading design-thinking techniques, practices and frameworks.

During the data science module, we’ll cover key things you need to know to interact with and maximize the value from your data science teams. We’ll cover use-case definition, what data is required to solve the problem and discuss various analytical approaches used to solve product problems with data.

In this module, we’ll review the top Toronto tech start-ups and product case-studies to better help you land a product management job or if you are hiring PMs, train you in the proper way of interviewing PM candidates.  

Includes resume critiques and mock interviews to help you strategically translate your past experience to a product management position.
